Carina State School's tuckshop facility is an operation run by parents and volunteers of our school.
With time taken in designing menus, preparing orders and cooking a variety of nutritious meals that are all within the specified Australian Schools Canteen Association guidelines, we endeavour to ensure that all of our children receive maximum benefits from our facility. We aim to provide at least two menus per term with many variations to tantalise growing taste buds. This also includes Red days, that allow for a more relaxed menu and we aim to provide these around a special occasion during the term i.e. sports day.
The tuckshop has its own mailbox situated at the facility encouraging our children to place their orders directly to ensure that their orders are received. There is also the option for parents with children who have various allergies, to contact the tuckshop volunteers directly to ensure all care is taken to accommodate their diet. The tuckshop is open to all children and staff every Friday except for the last Friday of term.
Throughout Carina State School, the tuckshop also functions for special occasions varying from, state and general elections via sausage sizzles, sport day and other fundraising functions during the academic year.
Online Ordering is available through the QKR App.
