Dress code
Carina State Schools dress code promotes:
A safe environment enabling identification of students and non-students of this school.
An effective teach and learning environment by eliminating the distraction of competition in dress and fashion at his school.
A supportive environment by fostering a sense of belonging and pride in the school.
Mutual respect amongst students at this school by minimizing visible evidence of economic, class or social differences.
Our dress code is supported and endorsed by the school’s P&C association. Parents enrol students at Carina State School on the understanding that the school uniform will be worn at all times (except in the case of a designated free dress days). This is because:
A uniform builds school spirit, contributing to a positive school culture and upholds the good image of the school in the community.
The uniform complies with sun safety (i.e. has collar and sleeves).
The uniform design promotes participation in all activities by both girls and boys.

It is expected that all students will wear the school uniform at all times including to and from school.
